Volunteers delivered Project Angel Heart’s first meals in 1991, and today volunteers make it possible for Project Angel Heart to serve nearly 800 clients each week. More than 300 volunteers contribute about 600 hours chopping, driving or typing six days a week (including evenings!) to make sure clients receive nutritious meals in Denver and Colorado Springs.
You can make a critical difference in the lives of people living with life-threatening illnesses by joining our volunteer team of Distribution Assistants and Delivery Drivers. In Denver, you can also choose to become a Kitchen Assistant or Office Assistant. If you’d like to make a difference but can’t commit to a minimum of 10 shifts, you may be interested in volunteering for a special event or organizing a group opportunity.
