PrideFest Denver

Colorado Springs PrideFest is one of the Pikes Peak region’s most exciting summer events. Whether you’re 21 or 81, PrideFest is the place to get your groove on with an all-ages dance floor, beer garden and live entertainment throughout the day. Join Project Angel Heart and help us make new friends! You don’t have to be L, G, B, or T to be proud of Project Angel Heart! All volunteers who love Project Angel Heart are welcome to join us in the parade for Pride Fest Colorado Springs.  Avon Walk for Breast Cancer
June 24-28, 2009

Since the launch of the Avon Walk in 2003, nearly $200 million has been raised to advance access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer, with a focus on the medically underserved. Avon grants us crucial funding to serve clients living with breast cancer. This year, we’ll say “thanks!” with cookies and lunch for walkers. Sandwich Makers join Project Angel Heart’s chefs in baking cookies, making sandwiches, and packing it all up for walkers in Randy’s Kitchen. Cheering station volunteers keep walkers motivated and let them know how much we appreciate their support along the route! If you would like to make sandwiches or cheer on walkers, sign up online!

Colorado AIDS Walk
August 15, 2009

AIDS Walk Colorado benefits Colorado AIDS Project and the fundraising teams of 30 other AIDS service and education organizations throughout the state of Colorado, including Project Angel Heart! AIDS Walk Colorado was started in 1987 as a community response to the AIDS epidemic that was ravaging the nation. Today, AIDS Walk Colorado is the largest AIDS fundraiser in the Rocky Mountains, attracting over 7000 participants a year. Dining Out for Life®

On Dining Out for Life® day, Project Angel Heart will partner with over 330 restaurants across the Front Range that will donate 25% of the day’s food sales. Volunteer Ambassadors represent Project Angel Heart in an assigned restaurant, greeting diners and talking to them about the mission of Project Angel Heart. Through volunteer Ambassadors, diners might become clients, volunteers, or donors! Being an Ambassador is an incredibly easy way to make a big impact in a little bit of time, and we’ll give you all the tools and information you need to be successful.
