Volunteers
delivered Project Angel Heart’s first meals in 1991, and today volunteers
still make it possible for Project Angel Heart to serve over 700 clients each
week on a comparatively small budget. More than 300 volunteers contribute more
than 600 hours chopping, driving or typing six days a week (including evenings!)
to make sure clients receive nutritious meals in
Denver
and
Colorado Springs.
You
can make a critical difference in the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS,
cancer, and other life threatening illnesses by joining our volunteer team of
Distribution Assistants and Delivery Drivers. In Denver, you can also choose to become a
Kitchen
Assistant or Office Assistant. If you’d like to make a difference but can’t
commit to a minimum of three months, you may be interested in a group
opportunity or special event!

A Few Important Notes:
Project
Angel Heart volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of ten volunteer
shifts—shifts are generally 1-4 hours—and are welcome to volunteer for
years!
All
volunteers must be at least 16 years old or volunteering with a responsible
adult. We welcome volunteer families!
All volunteers are responsible for maintaining client
confidentiality and honoring the diverse Project Angel Heart community.
