Garden Assistant – The Alexander Garden, Denver

Project Angel Heart’s Alexander Garden is located in Greenwood Village. Thanks to garden space provided by two donors, our primary purpose is to grow herbs, one of our most expensive items, to offset costs in a sustainable way.

  • Volunteers are needed to help build raised cedar beds and plant, maintain, and harvest the garden.
  • For the construction of the cedar beds, volunteers will be using saws, drills, levels and sledgehammers to construct these beds. In addition, volunteers should be able to carry and place cedar timbers up to 16 feet long. Twelve or more volunteers are needed from 9am to 5pm with a lunch break included.
  • Volunteer shifts will begin in March 2020.
  • All volunteers must have a current background check on-file, and all volunteers are required to have pre-scheduled shifts (no drop-ins allowed).
  • Email Mark for more information.
  • Fill out an interest form.
