Cereal Drives for Project Angel Heart
Did you know we provide breakfast for clients who need extra nutrition?
Each week, we pack and deliver hundreds of breakfast bags with items like hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, peanut butter, and milk for neighbors living with cancer, kidney/heart disease, HIV/AIDS, and other life-threatening illnesses. The addition of cereal provides an easy, no-prep way for them to get the calories essential to gaining energy and strength, withstanding medical treatments, and feeling better.
You can give cereal online at any time, or host a cereal drive at your office, business, school, church, apartment building, or club at any time. Simply follow the donation guidelines outlined below, download and customize this cereal drive poster to promote your drive, and contact us at our Denver or Colorado Springs location to arrange drop-off.
Cereal donation guidelines:
- Please donate standard size boxes of healthy, whole grain cereal, like Cheerios, Raisin Bran, and Corn Flakes.
- Please avoid sugary cereals, hot cereals, and individual/bulk sizes.
- No time to go to the grocery store? Skip the trip and give ‘virtual’ boxes of cereal online.
We’d love to hear about your cereal drive! Send your plans, photos, and questions to Casey Powell at firstname.lastname@example.org or 303.830.0202.
