Anne Hanaoka: Volunteer of the Month

Project Angel Heart is thrilled to recognize Anne Hanaoka as our Volunteer of the Month for November. Anne was nominated by our volunteer resources team. Here’s what they had to say about her:

Anne began volunteering with Project Angel Heart in March 2022 as a distribution assistant. While she also participated in a few kitchen shifts, once she heard we had a new packing shift for shipping boxes, she was all in.

Anne is known for her hard work, reliability, and dedication to ensuring shipments are packed and sent to our clients. She tackles challenging tasks, like auditing shipments, and frequently steps up to train new volunteers on the shipping shift when needed.

Her commitment, enthusiasm, and hard work have all been essential in getting shipments packed. When we were short on volunteers, Anne even stayed beyond her scheduled shift to ensure every box was packed, labeled, and ready to be picked up.
