Pamela Wilson: Volunteer of the Month

Project Angel Heart is thrilled to recognize Pamela “Roll Tide” Wilson as our Volunteer of the Month for March. Pam was nominated by Executive Sous Chef Summer Polson and the kitchen team. Here’s what they had to say about her:

Pam has been a dedicated Project Angel Heart volunteer since August 2006—celebrating 19 years this year!

For many years, she was part of the Monday evening Soup Scoopers crew—a weekly tradition shared with her best friend, Marti Houser. Though Marti is no longer with us, Pam continues to honor her memory through her dedication to Project Angel Heart.

Pam is an invaluable part of our team, and her passion for helping others has only grown. Since retiring, Pam has become even more involved, volunteering every Monday evening and Tuesday morning. When she’s not traveling, you’ll find her in the kitchen twice a week, bringing warmth and energy to every shift.

Whether she’s chopping vegetables or preparing fish, Pam makes even the most mundane tasks feel like a good time. She is an absolute joy to work with and exemplifies the qualities of a dedicated volunteer. Her kindness, humor, and dependability make her an integral part of our team.
