The Chef Brandon Apprenticeship Program

Chef Brandon in the Project Angel Heart kitchen cooking

Chef Brandon Foster was an icon of the Denver food and restaurant community, and was also Project Angel Heart’s executive chef.

Chef Brandon was known and beloved for his culinary skill and a deep commitment to improving his community. Following his death in 2020, Chef Brandon’s family, along with Project Angel Heart and generous donors, created opportunites to train high school students, continuing his commitment to supporting young leaders.

Now called The Chef Brandon Apprenticeship Program, thanks to the Foster family and other supporters, Project Angel Heart has recruited and hired motivated people with an interest in culinary arts for kitchen training and mentorship. Apprentices in the program receive a salary or tuition.
