Amy Yocom: Volunteer of the Month

Project Angel Heart is thrilled to recognize Amy Yocom as our Volunteer of the Month for October. Amy was nominated by our volunteer resources team. Here’s what they had to say about her:

Amy began volunteering as a kitchen assistant in June 2018, and we’ve been lucky to have her on our team ever since! In addition to helping dish up meals almost every Tuesday, Amy took on the big job of labeling more than 1,900 meal bags every week. She even recruited her husband to help, and together, they dedicate about four hours each Wednesday to labeling. Thanks to her commitment, it’s likely that nearly every client label you’ve seen on a meal bag was handled by Amy.

Amy’s flexibility, dedication, and positive attitude keep everything running smoothly, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you, Amy, for your dedication to our mission—we’re so grateful to have you as part of our community. Congratulations!
