Carbohydrates provide critical energy! Bodies facing illness are often using lots of extra energy to attack illness, overcome fatigue and other issues, or recover from treatment.
Protein helps prevent the loss of muscle mass that happens when our bodies are using extra energy or going through difficult treatments.
