David Lingle: Volunteer of the Month

Project Angel Heart is thrilled to recognize David Lingle as our Volunteer of the Month for December. David was nominated by our volunteer resources team. Here’s what they had to say about him:

David started with Project Angel Heart in March 2018 as an office assistant. Many may remember him as the friendly face behind the front desk on Thursdays at our Denver office. Prior to our expansion into Northern Colorado, David made the weekly trip from Fort Collins to Denver to support our team. Now, with an opportunity closer to home, he has become a mainstay of our new operations up north.

David has been there since day one of our Northern Colorado expansion—helping unload meal bags from the van arriving from Denver, organizing those bags, and ensuring each client’s meals, fresh fruit, and birthday cards are prepared with care. His efforts set volunteer drivers up for success and give them a wonderful first impression. He works seamlessly with the food bank staff who host us in their space, as well as with our expanding roster of volunteers, who benefit greatly from his experience.

David is incredibly dedicated, and his contributions—whether behind the scenes during distribution or representing Project Angel Heart at events like Greeley Pride—have been invaluable as we grow our impact in Northern Colorado.
