Donated Produce Equals Big Rewards Thanks to Subaru Partnership

Denver (September 3, 2014) – Project Angel Heart, a non-profit organization that delivers nutritious meals to improve quality of life, at no cost, for those coping with life-threatening illnesses in metro Denver and Colorado Springs, has partnered with Subaru of America, Inc. to put the power of produce to work in our local communities. Subaru of America, Inc., together with its retailers, is dedicated to making the world a better place and giving back to the community.

Subaru is not only the sponsor of the Project Angel Heart Garden, which provides greens, herbs and other vegetables to those in need, it also encourages locals to use their own gardens to supply life-sustaining nutrition to people living with an illness.

As the produce delivery sponsor, Subaru will donate $25 to Project Angel Heart (up to a maximum of $5,000) for every donor who brings in extra produce from their garden during the 2014 growing season.  Produce donors who mention Subaru when they deliver their harvest will also receive a free gardening tool from Barebones, while supplies last. Visit www.projectangelheart.org/grow-row for donation guidelines.
