Dorothy Hansen: Volunteer of the Month

Project Angel Heart is thrilled to recognize Dorothy Hansen as our Volunteer of the Month for April. Dorothy was nominated by our volunteer resources team. Here’s what they had to say about her:

Dorothy started volunteering at Project Angel Heart in 2019 as an office assistant and an event and outreach volunteer. Dorothy is very enthusiastic when working at the front desk and is always ready to handle whatever comes her way with a big smile and an attentive attitude.

Everyone loves talking to Dorothy when they pass by the front desk because her positive energy is contagious—it feels like a beam of sunshine has shone upon us! She has mastered all front desk tasks including checking bags, receiving visitors, managing security logs, handling mailings from different departments, and many other essential duties.

Dorothy also volunteers as an event and outreach volunteer. Not only does she serve as an ambassador for Dining Out For Life, but she also attends various community outreach events to share Project Angel Heart’s mission and work with the community.
