August 2023 Volunteer of the Month
Project Angel Heart is thrilled to recognize Jim Smith as our Volunteer of the Month for August. Jim was nominated by the distribution team, and here’s what they had to say about him:
Jim is a constant ray of light and energy—arriving every Thursday with an infectious smile and an eagerness to contribute wholeheartedly. He has learned just about every aspect, challenge, and solution for the meal distribution process. Recently, Jim also embraced the role of Friday meal delivery driver, approaching it with the same smile and warm energy.
Jim’s exceptional family—his wife Inez and son Will—readily lends their support whenever their schedules permit. It feels like a celebrity sighting when the entire Smith family is at Project Angel Heart, as they’re very well known, and volunteers love seeing them.
