June 2022 Volunteer of the Month
Congratulations to Kathy Weber, kitchen assistant and office assistant. Kathy was nominated by the volunteer resources team. Here’s what they had to say about Kathy:
Kathy Weber is a dream volunteer and started volunteering with Project Angel Heart in February of 2010. Kathy started as a kitchen assistant on a weekly basis, and she still comes in every week for her shift! Kathy has come to be a staple and good friend to her teammates on that shift, as they often enjoy time together outside of Project Angel Heart. Some might say they are more like family that started out as friends.
Kathy also has assisted Project Angel Heart as an event volunteer throughout the years, and in 2020, when Kathy saw there was a need at the front desk, she took on an additional role as an office assistant—again once a week! This has been such a great fit for Project Angel Heart, as Kathy brings her skills and pleasant nature to each task and each phone call that comes in. Kathy also helps Client Services each week during this shift by entering client applications, and her support is greatly appreciated from the entire client services team.
