Exciting News: We’re Expanding to Northern Colorado

We are incredibly excited to announce that Project Angel Heart’s home-delivered meal program is expanding to Northern Colorado! The geographic expansion marks the most significant in our 32-year history.

It sets a goal for us to provide 2,445,000 medically tailored, home-delivered meals to a total of 10,000 people by 2026.

The expansion is made possible by a truly transformational gift: a three-year, $1.4 million grant from our friends at Kaiser Permanente. For years, Kaiser Permanente has partnered with Project Angel Heart to help get meals to thousands of severely ill Coloradans. We are tremendously grateful for their continued trust and support.

The first phase of the expansion, beginning this month, will make our program available to severely ill neighbors in nine Northern Colorado cities and towns: Brighton, Dacono, Firestone, Fort Lupton, Frederick, Hudson, Hygiene, Longmont, and Niwot.

Additional phases through 2026 will make our meal program available as far north as Fort Collins in Larimer County!

In the coming months, we look forward to sharing the stories of lives touched and milestones reached. In the meantime, you can read more about our expansion in this media release.

If you are able to help us deliver meals in the Brighton and Longmont area, we need you! Please reach out to our volunteer resources team at volunteer@projectangelheart.org.
