At it’s January meeting, the Project Angel Heart Board of Directors welcomed four new board members: Malia Fredrickson from Boulder, Maureen Girard from Denver, Kori Magallanez from Colorado Springs, and John Steiner from Denver.
Malia Fredrickson is the director of development and strategic partnerships at the National Center for Women & Information Technology. She oversees partnerships with large tech companies as well as government institutions such as the Department of Defense.
Maureen Girard is the vice president of sales for the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN). She is a healthcare business executive with experience in international markets, strategy, sales, marketing, product development and is also a registered nurse. In her current role at AORN, Maureen leads the sales of all business-to-business products working with healthcare organizations and medical device companies.
Kori Magallanez is vice president of customer success for Nymbl Science, a digital health company serving the health needs of older adults. Kori is a long-time volunteer with Project Angel Heart and served for several years as chair of the Colorado Springs regional council.
John Steiner is a physician and a senior clinical investigator at the Institute for Health Research, Kaiser Permanente Colorado. He has been a leader of health services research programs and research training programs for more than 30 years, with an emphasis on access to care, health care disparities, and social determinants of health.
