Tami Toma: Volunteer of the Month

Project Angel Heart is thrilled to recognize Tami Toma as our Volunteer of the Month for June. Tami was nominated by our volunteer resources team. Here’s what they had to say about her:

Tami started volunteering with Project Angel Heart in January 2013 as a meal delivery driver and has remained in this role for 11 years. She has been an incredible member of our Colorado Springs team, assisting with multiple deliveries to ensure our clients receive their meals.

She is always flexible, dependable, and willing to jump in when we are in a pinch. Bad weather doesn’t scare her, as she has delivered meals on many snowy and rainy days. Tami’s sheer dedication makes her an exemplary long-term volunteer.
