Victor Harvey: Volunteer of the Month

Project Angel Heart is thrilled to recognize Victor Harvey as our Volunteer of the Month for July. Victor was nominated by our volunteer resources and distribution teams. Here’s what they had to say about him:

Victor has been a dedicated distribution assistant since starting with us in April 2021. In that time, he’s done just about every task possible on the Thursday distribution team, and done them all very well. Over the past four years, Victor has learned every facet of both the morning and afternoon Thursday shifts.

He has recently helped lead and organize our packing shifts, which include packing more than 13,000 meals, and he did it with enthusiasm and ease. His focus isn’t limited to his shift—he often poses thoughtful questions and shares feedback about the organization as a whole.

Victor is always ready to lend a hand where needed and brings a cheerful, energetic, and enthusiastic spirit to every shift. He helps create a sense of community with other volunteers through kind and thoughtful conversations. He also brings plenty of sass and humor, which are two of Victor’s many wonderful qualities. It’s hard to imagine Thursdays without him.
