Volunteer of the Month: April 2019

Congratulations to Kathi Keil and Greg Ryan, shuttle drivers, meal delivery drivers, event volunteer (Kathi), office assistant (Kathi), and volunteers of the month for April 2019! Kathi and Greg were nominated twice this month.

Doug Eulberg, fellow volunteer, said:

“This husband and wife team generously helps in many areas at Project Angel Heart. Kathi volunteers in the office every Thursday, staffing the front desk. Greg & Kathi are Saturday shuttle drivers to the southwest shuttle location, and once a month they also deliver one of the routes from the southwest shuttle location. For the past two years Kathi has been my “buddy” as we were Dining Out For Life ambassadors at a very, very busy lunch hour at the Blue Bonnet Café. Kathi & Greg have certainly jumped in with both feet to volunteer with Project Angel Heart.”

Cortney Paddock, volunteer resources coordinator, said:

“Kathi and her husband Greg shuttle meals twice a month and deliver to Project Angel Heart clients once a month. Since starting as a volunteer in July 2016, Kathi has become very engaged with Project Angel Heart! In addition to her monthly delivery commitments with Greg, Kathi volunteers at the front desk on Thursdays. Kathi is willing to do any project but has helped the most with creating birthday cards that are sent to clients on their birthdays. With an average of 20-30 client birthdays a week, Kathi’s help is much appreciated! Lastly, Kathi has supported Project Angel Heart as a Dining Out For Life ambassador for two years. Kathi and Greg, thank you for the many ways you support Project Angel Heart!”

As volunteers of the month, Kathi and Greg will enjoy a special dinner prepared by Project Angel Heart’s chefs.
