Volunteer of the Month: December 2018

Dee scoops meals on Thursday mornings.

Congratulations to Dee Frembgen, kitchen assistant and volunteer of the month for December 2018! Dee was nominated by fellow volunteer Mike Jones. Mike said:

“Dee has been a dedicated volunteer since 2012. Dee works the Thursday morning kitchen shift and until recently, also worked in distribution, making it a busy and physically taxing morning. In addition to her expert scooping, she looks to help wherever she can with set-up and clean-up, and never lets on if she isn’t feeling well. Dee is an octogenarian and is committed to volunteering– so committed in fact that when she doesn’t have a ride to come in, she takes the bus! Dee inspires the team with her dedication and her quiet, easygoing sense of humor. We love Dee!”

As volunteer of the month, Dee will enjoy a special dinner prepared by Project Angel Heart’s chefs.
