Volunteer of the Month: February 2018

Congratulations to Lynn Bryant, gardener, kitchen assistant, unofficial tour guide, and Volunteer of the Month for February 2018! Lynn was nominated by Nancy Blevins, volunteer resources coordinator.

Nancy said, “Lynn’s dedication to the garden warrants the nomination. For many years, Lynn has managed both the front and back garden beds- not only are they beautiful, they provide essential vegetables and herbs for our clients. Lynn also nurtures our heritage wall in our distribution area which houses succulents, and she volunteers once a week in the kitchen! Lynn is very passionate about Project Angel Heart and has spoken to dozens of groups while onsite, providing a warm and welcoming demeanor. If that wasn’t enough, Lynn recently delivered meals for us when we were in a bind.”

Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Lynn!

As Volunteer of the Month, Lynn will enjoy a special dinner prepared by Project Angel Heart’s chefs.
