Volunteer of the Month: June 2019

Congratulations to Michelle Brown, our volunteers of the month for June 2019! Michelle, an office volunteer since 2016, was nominated by Kyle Copp, operations and sustainability manager.

“Michelle Brown has been a dedicated office volunteer for almost three years now. Since starting as a weekly office assistant, Michelle has been a HUGE help with the weekly processing of our decorated bags, working on client and donor mailings, helping with data entry, and anything else we have asked her to work on. She has always shown strong initiative to take on multiple responsibilities and recently took over the process of organizing route sheets for our delivery drivers. Michelle is also the volunteer who manages the front desk once a month when we attend our all-staff meeting. As if that wasn’t enough, Michelle stays for a second volunteer shift after her time at the front desk to help our client services team with data entry.

Michelle is such a joy to work with and brings such light and kindness to Project Angel Heart. We are so lucky to have her and that is why I would like to nominate her for volunteer of the month.”

As volunteer of the month, Michelle will enjoy a special dinner prepared by Project Angel Heart’s chefs.
