Your company can support neighbors living with illness by giving the gift of food. And, sponsoring a meal while volunteering with your group is a great way to boost employee engagement while giving back. A day’s worth of meals can be sponsored for $1,000 and, when part of a volunteer opportunity in 2023, your sponsorship will be MATCHED by Seattle Fish Company. You can also elect to sponsor meal enhancements through an additional $500 donation.

We will acknowledge your sponsorship in our social media posts, recognize your sponsorship week-long on our menu board for our 250+ weekly volunteers and staff to see, and recognize you as a member of our Corporate Partners Program, a group of corporate partners committed to helping Project Angel Heart maximize its impact.

GROUP VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Kitchen Packing: Create your own assembly line to pack breakfast bags for clients who need extra nutrition. Some lifting (up to 20 lbs) required. For groups of 6 – 15 volunteers, ages 18 and up. Wednesdays, 9-noon and 1-4pm in Denver.

Distribution Assistance: Help solve Project Angel Heart’s meal puzzle by packing and organizing meal bags. This position is essential in getting the right meal in the right bag and to the right client. Five to seven volunteers per shift, ages 18 and up. Thursdays, 9 am-12 pm in Denver.

Kitchen Assistance: Assist in the Project Angel Heart Kitchen to scoop, wrap, and seal breakfast meals. 12 to 15 volunteers per shift, ages 18 and up. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 1 pm – 4 pm in Denver.

Delivery Driving: Visit Project Angel Heart and deliver delicious, healthy meals directly to Project Angel Heart clients. Personal vehicles required. Up to three vehicles with at least two volunteers in each car, children allowed with guardian. Mondays 9:30 am – 12 pm, Fridays 10:30am-1pm and Saturdays 12:30pm-3pm in Denver; Saturdays 9:30-12:30pm in Colorado Springs, and Saturdays, 8:45 am-11 am in Pueblo.

Meal Delivery Bag Decoration: Provide an extra touch of hope for Project Angel Heart clients. Pick up delivery bags to decorate at your workplace or other location. All ages welcome. NEW : Fill the meal bags you decorate with nourishing meals! Each gift of $60 fills a meal bag for one Coloradan facing a severe health condition.
