Welcoming Our New CDO

Friends,

Andrea Pacheco

I’m thrilled to share that we have hired Andrea Pacheco as our new Chief Development Officer.

Andrea is likely familiar to many of you already. She served as a key member of Project Angel Heart’s development team for seven years, cultivating strong relationships with supporters and volunteers. As we continue to strive toward our vision that all Coloradans living with severe illness have access to nutritious food that supports their health and well-being, Andrea’s rich history with our community, and proven track record of securing financial and other resources, will be instrumental for our success.

In her new role, Andrea will lead our talented development team, and will create and execute short- and long-term fundraising strategy.

Andrea comes to us most recently from Conservation Colorado where she served as vice president of fundraising. She also has held fundraising positions with Colorado College and the University of Colorado Boulder.

Currently, Andrea is a board and faculty member with the Institute for Leaders in Development at DU and is a member of Community-Centric Fundraising’s Colorado chapter.

When you’re next in the Denver office and kitchen, don’t hesitate to seek out Andrea and say hello. She has shared that one of the things that excites her most about her role as CDO is reconnecting with our community, one she considers family.
