August 2022 Volunteer of the Month
Congratulations to Fran Berry, shuttle driver. Fran was nominated by the volunteer resources team. Here’s what they had to say about Fran:
Fran first started with Project Angel Heart in January 1994 and has been involved in many aspects of the operation over the years! Fran is currently a weekly shuttle driver, and she never blinks at shuttling 60+ bags to any site around Denver–a huge gift to Project Angel Heart.
Fran also loves to help at our signature events, especially Dining Out For Life® in April, where she takes her natural gifts of energy and kindness and turns them into donations! Fran also has volunteered for Pie in the Sky, A Taste for Life, Festival Italiano, Bread & Butter Club receptions, and has delivered meals numerous times over the course of her 28 years with us. Simply remarkable.
Fran is always flexible, and one comment we heard was, “Fran is such a wonderful supporter–and she brings a lot of cheer to Project Angel Heart in all she does.”
