Volunteer of the Month: August 2018

Congratulations to Bill McAdams, kitchen assistant, meal delivery driver, and volunteer of the month for August 2018! Bill was nominated by fellow volunteer Kathy Stumm. Kathy said:

“Bill is a kitchen assistant on the Tuesday morning shift and has been since 2010. You can find him in the kitchen early on Tuesday mornings, making that packaging/sealing machine work its magic. There is rarely a Tuesday morning when you won’t find him working hard. He’s helpful to all but especially to new volunteers to our shift, always taking the extra effort to make everyone comfortable. Bill also ensures all of the correct meals are made for the Tuesday fresh delivery clients, allowing staff to tend to other duties! We’re so lucky to have his smile, effort, and loyalty on our shift.

Bill also delivers meals to clients every Friday and always arrives to pick up his meals with a smile and a friendly word – something we are sure clients get on a weekly basis from Bill as well.”

As volunteer of the month, Bill will enjoy a special dinner prepared by Project Angel Heart’s chefs.
