$2.25 Million Raised to Provide Meals for Ailing Neighbors

You did it! Coloradans facing life-threatening health challenges during the pandemic desperately needed help getting nutritious food, and you stepped up to make sure they got the meals they needed. In October, we set out to raise $2 million to help ensure not one meal is missed this winter, but you helped us blow past that goal, providing our team with greater certainty and optimism as we head into the new year.

In October 2020, we kicked off a special campaign, Delivering Hope & Health, with the aim of raising at least $2 million before December 31. That’s the amount we knew we’d need to raise to feel confident that we could continue preparing and delivering delicious, medically tailored meals for our most vulnerable neighbors.

To date, we’ve raised $2.25 million, surpassing our original goal by more than $250,000! These funds will allow us to provide more meals for more clients than ever before, and to continue doing so with limited volunteer support until COVID-19 restrictions are fully lifted.

You showed us that you’re committed and passionate about providing food as medicine for neighbors in need. We’re so glad to have you by our side.

“We’re inspired by the way our Colorado communities have stepped up to share love and care with vulnerable neighbors,” said Owen Ryan, president & CEO of Project Angel Heart. “We hear from many clients, and what they tell us is that their Project Angel Heart meals have been instrumental in keeping them safe while helping them gain strength and feel better.”

Our work goes on and, thanks to you and other friends, we’re heading into 2021 with a big dose of confidence and renewed energy. Thanks for this wonderful gift, and for all you’ve done to provide better health and quality of life for your neighbors during this challenging time.
