Heather Nolte is a dedicated volunteer who started volunteering with Project Angel Heart in May 2021. Heather first joined us as a Saturday meal delivery driver, offering her time every week at one of our busiest satellite locations. She is a very gracious individual, often helping shuttles and drivers at the site, and eventually taking on the satellite coordinator role.
Kathy Weber is a dream volunteer and started volunteering with Project Angel Heart in February of 2010. Kathy started as a kitchen assistant on a weekly basis, and she still comes in every week for her shift! Kathy has come to be a staple and good friend to her teammates on that shift, as they often enjoy time together outside of Project Angel Heart. Some might say they are more like family that started out as friends.
Mike started volunteering with Project Angel Heart in 2020, assisting weekly with both shuttling and meal delivery. Mike was attentive and always on time, and offered to deliver anywhere in metro Denver, a huge plus for the Denver staff. When Mike let us know in 2021 that he was moving to Pueblo, we thought we lost one stellar volunteer for good!
Leanne brings an energetic attitude every time she volunteers and is always willing to help in any area needed. In 2021, Leanne had a temporary schedule change that overlapped deliveries. She wanted to continue volunteering and decided to try Saturday morning distribution. She jumped right in and quickly understood even the smallest details of the distribution process.
