David has been a trusted member of the Thursday Distribution team for many years, but when we needed additional help during the pandemic, David began volunteering on Fridays and Saturdays as well. When we’re in a pinch, we know David has our back.
Judy has been a dedicated volunteer since January 2015, and in this time, she has volunteered over 600 hours and worn almost every volunteer hat possible!
Susan has been a stellar volunteer since she started back in 2019. Susan has been willing to help in every capacity; pitching in at a moment’s notice to fill a kitchen shift or deliver bags to our clients.
Gina started volunteering during the beginning of the pandemic when she saw there was a call for meal delivery drivers. Once Gina began, I could see a trend – Gina is usually first in line to pick up meals every Friday, beating my long-standing record (friendly competition) and always offers to take an additional route if needed.
Eddie has been a volunteer since December of 2016. Eddie is a shuttle driver at Queen of Peace and he is a great asset to our group of shuttle and delivery drivers.
Leticia was introduced to Project Angel Heart by her cousin Rebecca McCormick, and started out in distribution helping pack meal bags for our clients…but it wasn’t long before she decided to help in the kitchen every week on the Monday afternoon chopping shift, bringing her cheerful nature along with her.
